Want to visit the Hamptons this summer but not quite in the budget? Well, take a drive past 4027 University Blvd. and gander at this newly-built home with an East Coast vibe. Completed in 2021, it has a light, bright and airy feel throughout its 7,292 square feet.
The Hamptons charm of this home is evident from the curb. Its light blue exterior, coupled with stone accents and crisp white columns, looks coastal. The home has a wrap-around porch along the front and a classic picket fence frames one side of the property.
Listing agent Jonathan Rosen of Compass said he could only think of one other home in the area that carries a similar East Coast appeal.
“It caters to the people in Dallas wanting something different,” Rosen said.
The blue motif is carried throughout the home with bright accents throughout the various living spaces. To the right of the light-filled foyer, a dining area sits in an octagonal-shaped room for a unique architectural detail. On the other side of the foyer at the front of the home, a study features bright blue built-ins and walls and a contrasting, warm-toned wood ceiling.
The home’s kitchen, breakfast and living rooms have an open concept design that provides easy access for entertaining or family living. The kitchen features white and softer blue hues, and offers a large center island and a butler’s pantry. Between the foyer and the expansive main living room, there is a wet bar with statement blue cabinets that serves the dining room and the living spaces.
Ceilings throughout the home are taller than average, with a 12-foot height on the first level and a 10-foot height on the second level, Rosen said.
The home has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and two half-bathrooms. One bedroom sits on the first level, with an en suite bathroom and a walk-in closet. There is also a large screened terrace off of the living room that has an outdoor kitchen and a fireplace.
The primary suite sits on the second level and has its own balcony, along with a large walk-in closet and a spa-like bathroom. The soothing, coastal design includes soft, natural tones and crisp, white accents.
The remaining three bedrooms are on the second level, each with walk-in closets and en suite bathrooms. The second level has its fair share of living spaces, as well. There is a flex room that could become an exercise or craft room, a lounge with access to the front balcony, a utility room and a media room at the back of the house.
There is a pool outside, and the home, priced at $6,250,000, features a three-car garage.
