Favorite Hidden Spy Camera For Home Security

If there is any doubt in your mind about how big a business home security is just look in your mail or local newspaper to see all the ads for home security companies or check out all the television ads. The business is growing by leaps and bounds.

Why? Well all you have to do is watch your local news or read your local paper. Every day there are stories about home burglaries or home invasions or both. Home invasions are much more dangerous because unlike burglaries they are done when the occupants of the home are home. The perps are usually armed too. Trust me you don’t want a home invasion.

So what can you do to prevent these crimes?

1. Lock all doors and windows-60% of all home burglaries happen through unlocked doors and windows.

2. Use your peephole-most home invasions happen through someone opening the front or back door when the bell is rung. Find out who is there first.

3. Start or join a “Neighborhood Watch”. Believe it or not burglars don’t want to get caught and the “Neighborhood Watch” program is very effective.

4. Get some motion activated spotlights. The bad guys don’t like light.

5. Get some hidden cameras.

I can heartily recommend at least two favorite hidden spy cameras for your home security.

The first is the brand new motion activated spot light hidden camera with built in DVR. It is a bright 80 LED spotlight that is activated by a motion sensor. When the light comes on a DVR starts recording images to an 8GB SD card. The camera is 2 megapixels for excellent picture quality. The view range is 80 feet and a field of view of 120 degrees. It is great as a spy camera.

This new hidden spy camera can protect your home two ways. The bad guys don’t like spotlights and if they do happen to break into your home you will have video evidence of them doing so.

The second is an IP camera for inside the home home security. These cameras use their own IP address so are completely networkable. The images can be viewed from anywhere in the world by logging into their IP address. They use the hard drive on your computer to record images saving money on a DVR.

You can use them indoors or outdoors and one model is even wireless. The software can support up to 16 cameras for real flexibility.

You can keep an eye on your home when you can’t be there to watch your kids, your nanny, your spouse, domestic help or repairmen.

When are you getting one?
