Cape Cod real estate transactions: Most expensive Barnstable County home sales from the week ending March 20

A house in Provincetown that sold for $2.9 million tops the list of the most expensive real estate sales in Barnstable County between Mar. 14 and Mar. 20.

In total, 80 real estate sales were registered in the area during the past week, with an average price of $647,350. The average price per square foot ended up at $397.

The prices in the list below concern real estate sales where the title was created during the week of March 14, even if the property may have been sold earlier.

10. $987,000, single-family home at 23 Ormond Drive

The sale of the detached house at 23 Ormond Drive, East Falmouth, has been finalized. The price was $987,000, and the house changed hands in March. David Evanson and Martha Evanson bought the house from J Frawley Ret Daniel. The house was built in 1957 and has a living area of 1,376 square feet. The price per square foot was $717. The deal was finalized on Mar. 2.

9. $989,000, single-family house at 14 Red Brook Road

The 2,022 square-foot single-family house at 14 Red Brook Road, Buzzards Bay, has now been sold. The transfer of ownership was settled in February and the total purchase price was $989,000, $489 per square foot. The house was built in 1975.
