BEDFORD — Owing to a prevalent hold off in Bedford County people obtaining mailed true estate tax statements, the Bedford County Treasurer’s Workplace is extending the payment grace period of time as a result of June 24 for the very first 50 % of genuine estate payments.
The Bedford County Board of Supervisors unanimously moved to request the treasurer’s office environment extend the grace time period.
At first, the initial 50 % of true estate tax payments have been because of by June 6, but several county residents reported not acquiring but received their statements. According to supervisors, the genuine estate tax statements were being a few weeks late.
